2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Review — Cars.com

Up until now, the only 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray we drove had a bunch of options and the Z51 Performance Package, which added nearly $25,000 to the car’s starting price: $85,000. Ouch. The mid-engine 2020 Vette was good even at that price, but what’s this car like at its shockingly low and much-touted entry-level price? We drove a 2020 Corvette 1LT, the base model, to review — and if you really need anything more than a $60,000 Vette.

What's the availability like? Can we order one now? Or is it limited and I'm way late?

Russell Carriere says:

Nobody talks about the cockpit and the noise. What is it like driving? How loud is it? I drove a 2019 Vett and could not stand how loud it was.

Looks great in white. Safety features should be standard or a cheaper stand alone feature.

Thank you so much for doing this! Everyone else has been reviewing the Z51, which is fine and well, and gives a good snapshot of the most capable showroom C8 money can currently buy, but I've been wondering the whole time about the genuine base $60K car. Glad to know it is more street-oriented given the daily duty most of these will realistically see. Nice work!

tigerbalm says:

Ugliest Vette ever made..LMAO! Looks like a ripoff of Acura with tacky side plastics…hmmm $60k + upgrades + 20K dealer markup = $100K…no thanks. $20K used Cayman is still superior driving and hawt eurotrash magnet…

Gary Michael Flanagan says:

This car is awesome!! For me, my $35000 C6Z06 is plenty car for the money!! Lots of fun to drive and will impress most enthusiasts.
